This initiative is guided by a mission that promotes innovation, quality, and good governance. Under the supervision of the Fund for Development and Reconstruction of Libya (FDRL) and the Urban Planning Authority, the program seeks to attract leading international firms to prepare a comprehensive master plan for Greater Benghazi. This plan will address a wide range of urban planning dimensions, serving as a framework to absorb the city’s rapid urban growth and meet its aspirations. It will translate these ambitions into development programs that position Benghazi among the ranks of advanced and sustainable cities.
